P. Allison & Sons have a wide range of experience in the field of diamond drilling and wall / floor sawing. All our operatives are fully experienced and C.I.T.B trained. We have the equipment to drill holes varying in diameter, which can be drilled to depths of several metres in heavy reinforced concrete.
Project
Originally built by the War Department in 1951 as a regional control centre with reinforced 5' thick concrete walls and fitted out with all the necessities to support a number of people for at least 2 weeks after a nuclear strike. After being decommissioned the bunker lay disused until it was acquired and developed by Piermont Homes. 6 diamond core drilled holes have been drilled on all corners and centres to allow us to pass through the diamond rope. We can then carry out the sawing. Once this operation has been completed, using a 21 tonne excavator fitted with hydraulic breaker, we break out the concrete hole.
